My water tastes good again. The filters I used to buy for my fridge are no longer available so I had to find an alternative. I tried some that didn't work well at all. These do a really good job filtering out the chlorine taste and still have good water flow.

Fits my Whirlpool just fine. It takes a bit of pressure to push it into the holes, but that means it's getting a good seal. This is my third one and they have never leaked. You do need to run some water through it after you install it to flush it out a bit.

At the end of a full six month run of this replacement filter. Happily have had no issues of unusual or negative taste. No issue with leaks, etc. Installs exactly as did the Whirlpool and quite easily at that.

Easy to install, the taste is fine. I tried some cheaper brands, had a funny taste. I went back to this one. Paid a little more but it worth it to me. We are on well water if that matters to you
