Works great as a replacement for Whirlpool 4396841 which was no longer available. So far I didn't have any trouble with the taste. My initial reaction is the taste is better compared to the PUR. I'll update if anything changes.

Flushed roughly 3 gallons before drinking. It's been well over 3 weeks and no bad aftertaste whatsoever. So far no change in filter longevity. I recommend this Kenmore 9020 filter.

I've bought about 4 of these filters thus far. 1 filter every 6 months works great. My water tastes good with the Whirlpool 4396710 filter so I've never had issues with these filters from Clatterans.

I like the filter - Whirlpool filter 3 but will no longer purchase once I found out that the water coming into my refrigerator is reverse osmosis.
